He was born in a family of soldiers whose 5 generations have served in the Indian Army

He gave years of active service in the defense Forces including participation in Bangladesh War 1971, IPKF (Sri Lanka) and Kargil etc.

He retired on 31st October 2009 as Director General Quality Assurance, Ministry of Defense, Gorv of India

Lt Gen AKS Chandele retired as Director General of Corps of EME. He is a MScDef Studies from Madras Universirty, MPhil from Indore University. MEHonsElec from lIT, Roorkee and PhD from Meerut University. He has specialized in Radar & Control systems and trained in Missile Systems in the erstwhile USSR. He has attended the prestigious Staff College, Higher Command & National Defence College Courses. He has had a distinguished career in the Army spanning over four decades

An educationist and visionary, she conceptualized computer literacy for the common man at a very affordable price of Rs 10 per hour way back in 1990. Since then, she has been contributing in the field of delivery of school, higher and professional education, skill development trainings, content development and healthcare and has positioned herself as a woman entrepreneur of substance with high HR and management skills with over 40 years of work experience.

His educational qualifications are PhD, M Phil M Com MIT MSc(Computer Science) M C A Professional Diploma in Network Centered Computing (NIIT) He has teaching experience of 40 years in Delhi University. His area of specialisation is computer and law.

She has 37 years of vast experience in R&D, Instrumentation, Analytics in the field of Mineral Ores, Metal Alloys, Glass Ceramics, Thermal Insulation Materials, Refractories, Inorganic Chemicals, Fertilizers, Corrosion, Paints, Coatings, Petroleum, Lubricants, Solid Fuels, Building Materials including Water and Soil, Wood Timber, in both Chemical and Mechanical spheres.

She is presently working as Sr. Asstt. Director & Chief and Head of Quality Assurance Division including Techno commercial and Customer care in SRI and organizing/managing/controlling the QA activities of the entire organization and main instrumental in getting the Accreditations, Approvals and Certifications from the various Government and other Regulatory and Statutory bodies.

She is also an approved Lead Assessor & Technical Assessor on the panel of QCI-NABL since 2006 and actively assessing the Laboratories and Industries Nationally/Internationally, as per ISO/IEC-17025 (Testing laboratories), ISO/IEC-17043 (Proficiency Testing Providers) and ISO-17034 (Reference Materials Producers). She is Chemistry Expert on the panel of QCI-NABL, as well.

She is also trained and experienced Auditor for QMS (ISO-9001), EMS (ISO-14001) and OHS&S (ISO-45001). She has conducted/imparted National and International Trainings for Quality systems as well as relevant Technical areas. She is Trainer for the Quality Management systems as per ISO/IEC-17025 and has conducted a number of training programmes at National and International level.

She is Member of various relevant Bureau of Indian Standards committees, Life member of several committees with active participation for Indian Road Congress (IRC), Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) and Indian Scientists of Analytical Society (ISAS). She is also enrolled as Ph.D Guide/Supervisor and/or Chemistry Expert, with Government and Private Universities

She has also successfully completed number of Projects related to different areas i.e. Petrochemicals, Construction, Mineral and Metals industry. She has also presented and published several papers on Cement, Fertilizers, Construction materials and Quality Assurance, in peer reviewed Journals.
